My name is Briann Mattise. I am professional Makeup Artist from St. Clair Shores, Michigan, and currently based out of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. My career started with receiving my license as an Esthetician at Douglas J. Aveda. Soon after that, I met an amazing Special MakeUp Effects Artist by the name of Daniel Phillips. He prepared me with the basic knowledge of makeup effects. From there, I moved to Pittsburgh to further my education in the Tom Savini Special Makeup Effects Program at Douglas Education Center. My specialties are beauty/bridal makeup, prosthetic makeup applications, theatrical makeup, mold making, fabricating eyes and teeth and prop design. Makeup is no longer a beauty staple, it is my art.
